I was stoked when I found out about this platform. A place to write about any of my many, many interests?… And it pays?

I didn’t have particularly high expectations from the beginning, so it should have been a smooth trip. Right? I mean, that’s usually how it works.

The cities you save Google images of to your screensaver at your first office job tend to disappoint (hello, New York). But the others, the places you go to on a whim because the opportunity beckons — those are the trips you’ll look back on when you’re 80 with a smirk stretching across your face and a twinkle in your eye.
